AAF’s The VariCel 2+ SC filter is the logical upgrade from standard 4-inch pleated filters, when higher efficiency and longer life are required.

AAF’s VariCel 2+ SC is available in MERV 11, MERV 14, and MERV 15 efficiencies.
Dust Holding Capacity
Utilizing AAF Flanders’ exclusive Impress pleating technology, the VariCel 2+ SC filter combines low resistance and high mechanical strength while maximizing energy efficiency.
Depth
The VariCel 2+ SC is available in a 4” depth.
Initial Resistance
The initial resistance of the VariCel 2+ SC at 500 fpm is:
0.28 in.w.g. for MERV 11
0.50 in.w.g. for MERV 14
0.58 in.w.g. for MERV 15
Final Resistance
The recommended final resistance of the VariCel 2+ SC is 1.5 in.w.g.
