AAF VariCel® 2+ Box Filter

AAF’s VariCel 2+ combines advanced embossing technology with a compact, high-capacity design for superior air filtration. Engineered for durability, its optimized synthetic media maximizes dust holding, resists moisture, and ensures reliable performance in demanding HVAC environments.

Efficiency

Available in MERV 11, MERV 14 and MERV 15 efficiencies

Special Feature

The VariCel 2+ media is moisture-resistant and can withstand intermittent exposure to water without affecting filter performance. The media pack is encased in high-impact plastic cell sides and completely sealed in a water-based copolymer emulsion, keeping particulates from bypassing the filter media.

Depth

The VariCel 2+ HC is available in a 4” depth.

Initial Resistance

The initial resistance of the VariCel 2+ HC at 500 fpm is:
0.26 in.w.g. for MERV 11
0.32 in.w.g. for MERV 14
0.40 in.w.g. for MERV 15

Final Resistance

The recommended final resistance of the VariCel 2+ HC is 1.5 in.w.g.
