Roberta MacGillivray, NCT, CAFS

CEO, Co-Owner, and second generation of BGE Indoor Air Quality Solutions Ltd.

 

For over 50 years, BGE Indoor Air Quality Solutions provides services and products to organizations that care about clean air. Through its focus on strong customer relationships and an integrated service and product offering, BGE delivers industry knowledge and technical and advisory support, enabling organizations to safely build and maintain clean, healthy indoor air environments.  BGE’s newest venture is the Clean Air Club.  The Clean Air Club is a subscription, e-commerce business that delivers filters to residential customers.  BGE has also partnered with Fort McKay First Nation as a minority investment in BGE Indoor Air Quality Solutions.  BGE believes in strength through diversity and believes that we can be a stronger organization with Fort McKay First Nation as our partner.

Roberta is an alumni of the Alberta School of Business achieving a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Management Information Systems.  Her previous experience was in IT, Business Analysis and Human Resources.  Roberta is Quantum Shift Fellow from Western University. Roberta has completed Roy Group training, Alberta School of business Governance course for SMEs and University of Alberta, Indigenous Canada Course.  She is the President-Elect of the National Air Filtration Association and is proud to be part of the Young Presidents’ Organization, Alberta Chapter.   She also volunteers her time as a mentor with Threshold Impact Venture Mentoring Service.

Roberta is proud to be from Alberta and continues to make this home to her business and her passions.  She is grateful to have her husband, Ian, as her business partner and her best friend.  Together they have raised two daughters Ella (17) and Reese (15).  Their daughters are their proudest project thus far.  Roberta spends her time with her supportive family and adventuresome friends traveling, skiing, paddle boarding, curling, and off-roading.  In her quiet moments, she reluctantly admits that she loves her Bernedoodle, Oakley (3).
