Pro-Tech Ultra

Pro-Tech Ultra synthetic media pads are designed to provide the ultimate performance in synthetic media pads. Pro-Tech Ultra pads are used to protect HVAC systems and ductwork as well as for extending the life of higher efficiency secondary filters.



The Pro-Tech Ultra lofted polyester media achieves a MERV 8 efficiency rating.


Dust Holding Capacity

Pro-Tech Ultra is treated with a heavy layer of non-migratory dry tackifier during the manufacturing process to improve its performance and dust holding capacity.



The Pro-Tech Ultra has a filter depth of 1”.


Initial Resistance

At 300fpm, the initial resistance of the media is 0.21” in W.G., and at 500fpm, the initial resistance of the Pro-Tech Ultra measured at 0.43” in W.G.


Final Resistance

At 300fpm, the recommended final resistance should be 0.21” in W.G, while at 500fpm, the final resistance should be 0.43” in W.G.

Performance Data


*Red Excell cells can be operated at higher than rated face velocities. Individual air flow and dust concentrations may vary.For best performance we recommend replacing the Red Excell filter between 0.6” & 0.75” (150 – 188Pa) final resistance.
