The Purafil Tub Scrubber System (TSS) provides clean air—free of corrosive gases and particulates—into environments housing sensitive electronics and electrical equipment. The TSS is a cost-effective means of preventing damage caused by corrosive gases typically found in industrial settings. A three-foot-deep media bed makes the TSS particularly effective in high-contaminant areas. Pulp and paper mills, refineries, steel mills, smelters, and chemical and petrochemical plants worldwide use this single-bed system to solve corrosion problems.

The Tub Scrubber’s design provides three feet of media depth in a single media bed to scrub high levels of gaseous contaminants from the air stream.

Lower operating horsepower and pressure drop than activated carbon-only systems.

Systems are available from 500 up to 6000 CFM, offering equipment flexibility to meet specific design requirements.

Corrosion-Free Air: The TSS provides clean air in controlled environments housing sensitive electronics as a cost-effective means of preventing damage caused by corrosive gases typically found in industrial settings. A three-foot-deep media bed makes the TSS particularly effective in high contaminant areas.
Effective Contaminant Control: The TSS’s deep media bed ensures thorough scrubbing of corrosive gases, aligning with the International Society of Automation’s (ISA) standards for controlled environments, and providing “G1” class air quality to protect sensitive equipment.
Low Maintenance: The Scrubber’s three foot media bed is designed for long service (typically one year or longer), and media changeout is simple and fast. The TSS is constructed of non corrosive fiberglass. The filters, blower section, and media bed are designed to be easily accessible.
